Computational Neurosciences

Computational neuroscience (moreover known as theoretical neuroscience or numerical neuroscience) is a department of neuroscience which employs numerical models, theoretical analysis and abstractions of the brain to understand the principles that administer the advancement, structure, physiology and cognitive capacities of the nervous system. Computational neuroscience includes studying brain work through computer modeling and numerical analysis. Computational neuroscientists perform research in which they collect information and make computer models based on the electrical designs and biological functions of the brain.
